Descrição do produto

Product Description:

Our sapphire tubes are manufactured from high-purity single crystal aluminum oxide (99.995%), offering exceptional mechanical strength, thermal stability, and optical performance. With a Mohs hardness of 9, which provides outstanding resistance to scratching, abrasion, and chemical corrosion, making them ideal for demanding industrial and scientific applications.

One of the key advantages of sapphire tubes is their excellent thermal resistance. They can operate continuously at temperatures exceeding 2000 °C and maintain structural integrity even in harsh thermal cycling conditions. In addition, sapphire exhibits superior chemical inertness, resisting attack from most acids, alkalis, and corrosive gases. Optically, sapphire offers a wide transmission range from ultraviolet to infrared, making these tubes suitable for optical and photonic applications such as high-temperature observation windows, laser systems, and spectroscopy equipment.

The KY method grows a large, submerged crystal boule by slowly cooling the melt, resulting in extremely low thermal stress and superior optical homogeneity. This makes it ideal for high-precision lenses. Comapred to EFG method which is faster and reduces machining costs for industrial substrates, the die contact and high thermal gradients often introduce more lattice defects than the KY method.

Key Features:

Thermal Resistance:Withstands temperatures above 2000 °C, maintaining stability in extreme heat(continuous use around 1500°C and thermal cycling environments.

Hardness & Durability: Mohs hardness of 9, offering outstanding resistance to scratches, wear, and mechanical damage.

Chemical Stability: Highly resistant to acids, alkalis, and corrosive gases, ensuring long service life in harsh chemical environments.

Fully Customizable Dimensions:Available in customized outer diameter, inner diameter, length, and surface finish touch to meet specific application requirements.

Applications:

High-Temperature Furnace Tubes: Used in industrial and laboratory furnaces for material processing under extreme heat due to excellent thermal stability.

Thermocouple & Sensor Protection: Acts as a protective sheath for thermocouples and sensors in corrosive or high-temperature environments.

Optical Windows & Viewing Tubes: Ideal for high-temperature observation ports, offering high transparency from UV to IR while resisting thermal shock.

Semiconductor Processing Equipment: Used in environments such as epitaxy or deposition systems where chemical resistance and purity are critical.

Chemical & Corrosive Environment Systems: Suitable for use in reactors or pipelines exposed to aggressive chemicals due to strong corrosion resistance.
